Ron is the portfolio manager of the firm’s Intrinsic Value Strategies: ACWI ex USA, Global Equity, and International Developed. He has more than 25 years of experience in the investment industry as an executive, portfolio manager, and investment analyst. Prior to joining Channing Global Advisors, he founded PREMIS Capital Partners, where he served as President, CEO, & Chief Investment Officer. Ron joined Hansberger Global Investors in 1997, initially as an analyst covering several industries and regions and subsequently, as portfolio manager and Director of Research of the firm’s Value strategy. Ron started his career at Merrill Lynch in 1991. He holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University. Ron is a CFA charterholder.

Prior to joining Channing Capital, Richard was president of Atlanta Wealth Advisors and an investment management consultant for Bank of America and Smith Barney, responsible for developing and managing client relationships with endowments, foundations, trusts and high-net-worth individuals. Previously, Richard was a corporate banking associate with Wachovia Bank.
Richard earned a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from Florida A&M University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Securities Professionals.
Award Disclaimer: To be eligible for the awards, managers must submit year-end 2024 data to Informa PSN by Jan. 24, have at least $10 million in product assets and have full-year 2024 performance figures as well as 2023 year-end product asset information. Firm-wide assets for non-diverse- and non-women-owned firms are capped at $2 billion, while MWBE equity managers with up to $10 billion are considered and MWBE fixed-income managers up to $25 billion are considered. Overall, 350 products were considered. Managers were ranked based on the following criteria: excess returns over the benchmark, performance versus peers, product asset growth and product asset percentage growth and information ratio. No compensation was provided in connection with obtaining the award.
