Highly Specialized Investment Strategies
To beat the market, you must be different from the market. That means looking at investment opportunities from a different point of view.
In a recent interview, Channing’s Co-Founder, Rodney B. Herenton, offered his perspective on the type of independent thinking that has led to a 20-year track record of competitive, long-term results and expertise in opportunistic investing.
Rodney covered a range of topics, including:
- How the intersecting paths of two HBCU graduates and entrepreneurs led to the founding of our firm
- The intrinsic value investing approach responsible for our successful 20-year track record as small- and mid-cap specialists
- Why we believe a contrarian “best ideas” approach can deliver competitive, long-term results and high alpha
- How our unique business model and partnerships with specialists in other opportunistic strategies give clients access to verticals that offer value and growth opportunities
